Pumpkin and Mommy

Pumpkin is a typical tornado-two-year-old right now, and even though she’s used to being photographed, she has very little patience for it right now. The best way for me to get a picture of her is by using “Face Time” on my iPhone. For those of you not familiar with it, it is the capability of the iPhone to take pictures from the front of the phone, so whatever you have the lens focused on shows up on the screen as well. Pumpkin loves watching herself move in the screen, so I can generally really get her to ham it up for me to get some cute shots.

The unfortunate downside of this is that generally I’m also in the frame…either my chin or my arm, holding the phone. This morning I decided to join in with her and take some mommy-daughter shots. I loved them so much that I made a photo-boothesque collage from them. I love how it turned out. I love, I love, I love!
