When she crawled out of bed this morning, Pumpkin wanted “juice, Goldfish, and television” – she says television rather than “TV”. That’s what she got. I’m awaiting the arrival of my mother-of-the-year award any day now.
Parents, do you ever get “touched out”? I love my babies more than anything on this earth, but some days, by evening time I’m so over being touched, hung upon, cuddled, and pinched/poked/prodded/tugged by tiny humans. Please tell me I’m not alone.
I just went in to check on Pumpkin and cover her back up, and was tickled to find that out of all of her stuffed animals and doll babies, she chose to go to bed with her Lightsaber. Man, I love that little girl.
