2005: Carolina Renaissance Festival

Going to the Carolina Renaissance Festival became an annual trip for us, and it was one of my favorite things to do while we lived in the Carolinas. It was always a fun photo opportunity, and despite it being a bit corny, it was fun to be surrounded by the sights of colorful costumes and… Read More 2005: Carolina Renaissance Festival

Fort Mill Strawberry Festival

Whoa, is it really Spring? Where did the sunshine go? The forecast for today called for 65 and partly cloudy; totally doable for this family. But when we ventured out to the Fort Mill Strawberry Festival on Saturday, it was a brisk 51 degrees and windy. Our girls weren’t dressed appropriately at all…they really should… Read More Fort Mill Strawberry Festival

Earth Day and a Photography Lesson

We got another reader in the family, y’all.
Last week, I went to the French Riviera for work (tough gig) and it rained and/or snowed the whole time. Because of the Air France strike, I’d arrived a day later than the rest of my team. I also fell and re-injured the ankle I had surgically repaired last year β€” on my second evening there. Keith says I’m no longer allowed to leave the house. I guess this is a nice selfie, though. #misadventurer

These two have such a special relationship. Fight like badgers much of the time, but at the core they’re best friends. I think they were playing gender-swap Valentine’s date. 🧐 πŸ€”πŸ˜
